Chains Out

Terms of Use

Last updated 8 September 2026

By using Chains Out you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.

What this is

Chains Out is a tool for building your own fantasy football player valuations. It turns the choices you make into a set of rankings and a trade calculator that argue from your opinions rather than from a crowd's.

It is run by Dale Evans, a sole trader in the United Kingdom.

What it is not

This is not betting advice, and it is not financial advice. Chains Out values fantasy football assets for fantasy football leagues. It does not tell you what to bet on, it takes no wagers, and nothing in it should be used to decide a gambling stake.

It is also not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the National Football League, the NFL Players Association, any NFL club, Sleeper, MyFantasyLeague, ESPN, Yahoo, or any fantasy platform. Player names and statistics are facts about public sporting events. Team names and marks belong to their owners.

Your account

Your data is yours

Your answers, rankings and boards belong to you. We claim no ownership of them. You can export the lot at any moment from the Export screen without asking us.

We use anonymous, aggregated patterns — how people rank positions, which games get played — to improve the app. Nothing that identifies you is ever published or sold.

The free plan and the ad-free plan

Fair use

Please do not:

We may suspend an account doing any of the above.

No guarantees

Chains Out is provided as it is. We work hard to keep the data accurate and the site up, but we cannot promise either. Statistics come from public data sources and may contain errors. Valuations are opinions — yours, mathematically organised — not predictions.

We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, including losing your fantasy league. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months.

Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, because the law does not allow that and nor would we want to.

Ending it

You can stop using it and delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms. If we ever shut the service down we will give reasonable notice and a way to export everything first.

The legal bits

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

If a term changes materially we will say so in the app. Carrying on using it after that means you accept the change.
